What a beautiful memorial this is to Patty. How comforting for her that she was surrounded by her family this past week. At sad times like this we realize just how important our family is. We are thinking of you.

Traditional dinner gatherings, with all of her children present, were a special highlight of the holiday season for Mark’s mom, Anne Cepaitis. With the passing of Anne in November 2014, her son, my partner, Mark, continued that family tradition, hosting Christmas dinner for his siblings. Looking back, only a month ago to December 2015, we did not know that would be the last happy gathering of all five Cepaitis “kids”. The image and emotional imprint of Patty and her brothers and sisters together, the dining room table laden with Mark’s fabulous Christmas cuisine, and joyful family banter will be a comforting, lasting memory. Patty will be missed, yet with us always.
